Ensuring Social Justice

Bal Gramotthan Seva Samiti was established in 2002 at Kamta in Chitrakoot district of Madhya Pradesh. Ever since its inception, BGSS is working for the promotion of sustainable, equitable and participatory development of people it has chosen to work with.

The organisation implements social development programmes to ensure social justice to the target people. It provides health and educational services to them for their all-round development. Its interventions include training and field action.

BGSS conducts social research and disseminates socially relevant knowledge. It contributes to social and welfare policies and programmes at state, national and international levels.

Over the years, the organisation has made a significant contribution to planning and action in several areas, ranging from sustainable development to education, health, agriculture and human rights. The focus is on the disadvantaged and marginalised section of societies, such as women, children and tribals.
